An Elon Law university student helped moderate a nationwide webinar hosted by the American Bar Association aimed at potential and current law pupils trying to get tips from successful attorneys of numerous backgrounds.

Lauren Jones L’23 teamed with Mussab Ali of Harvard Legislation Faculty on September 30, 2022, to lead “A Job as a Law firm: What They Do and How to Grow to be One.” The duo launched and posed concerns to 5 attorneys and judges on their law college activities and the perform they do today.

Sponsored by the ABA Young Law firm Division’s Diversity, Fairness, and Inclusion Group, the webinar was arranged to assistance all those with fascination in the legal occupation find out about the law school software approach, the law school practical experience, and diverse vocation paths for law faculty graduates.

Larissa Mañón Mervin, supervising lawyer to Authorized Aid of North Carolina’s domestic violence unit and a a short while ago elected member of the Board of Governors of the North Carolina Bar Association, suggested Jones to the ABA Youthful Legal professionals Division when asked about likely moderators.

She also serves as co-director of the Orientation Mentors program, chairs the College student Bar Association’s SBA’s Neighborhood Inclusion Chair, and formerly served as the Honor Council’s 1L agent.
